As part of this investment, BDO is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) professionals to join our Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team at the Senior Manager and/or Director level. As an integral member of our Brisbane RAS team, your responsibilities will include: Leading a variety of GRC projects, combining your expertise with BDO’s methodologies and procedures, Applying GRC and resilience concepts as a tool to help our clients solve their respective challenges and objective that span industry sectors and domains (e.g. AI), Coaching team members using your passion for leadership and fostering internal relationships, Leading business development activities by engaging current and potential future clients, Collaborating across BDO teams to deliver seamless professional services experience that meets their unique requirements, and Contributing positively to the knowledge base of BDO and the development of contemporary thinking in your chosen area of specialisation. About You We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience delivering GRC related services in a professional services environment. You will have a track record of achievement and be able to demonstrate the following: Prior experience working with risk and resilience, internal audit, and/or assurance concepts and techniques, A passion and open mind for innovating, solving problems, collaborating with others, Experience working within the local market, with a strong business network and a demonstrated ability to develop relationships and business development activities, A strong track record, and continued passion for developing other team members and fostering a culture of high performance, psychological safety and shared success, Tertiary qualification(s) (including post-grad qualifications such as CIA/CPA/CA) will be viewed favourably, and A strong business network and a demonstrated ability to lead client relationships and business development activities and initiatives.
