As part of this investment, BDO is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) professionals to join our Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team as a Senior Consultant and/or Assistant Manager. As an integral member of our Brisbane RAS team, your responsibilities will include: Plan, manage and deliver a variety of GRC projects, using your skills and experience to supplement BDO’s methodologies and procedures, Engage with clients through the development of written (e.g. reports) and verbal (e.g. workshops) outcomes, Collaborate across various BDO teams to deliver valuable advice and a seamless engagement experience to our client base, Support your senior RAS colleagues in the design and execution of business development initiatives, and hone your own business development skills, Develop junior staff through coaching, mentoring and training, Build your technical skills and business acumen through ongoing learning and development, and Contribute positively to the knowledge base of BDO and helping to develop contemporary thinking in your chosen area of specialisation. About You We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience delivering GRC related services in a professional services environment. You will have a track record of achievement and be able to demonstrate the following: Prior experience working with risk and resilience, internal audit, and/or assurance concepts and techniques, A passion and open mind for innovating, solving problems, collaborating with others, Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (via reports, spreadsheets, presentations, emails, and in conversations), work in a multi-disciplinary team, manage engagements and deliverables, A strong drive for development and desire to contribute to a culture of high performance, psychological safety and shared success, Tertiary qualification(s) (including post-grad qualifications such as CIA/CPA/CA) will be viewed favourably, and Strong internal drive, a growth mindset and aspirations for leadership opportunities Why BDO?
