All about the role: As the Network Architect, you will give input to the work around network architecture for Electrolux and support the company’s mission of Shaping living for the better. You set standards and own the defined processes and drive the installation of standardized tools for day-to-day management of Network and Network Security infrastructure. You will, as the appointed Network Architect, work together with the peers in the regions to ensure consistency across the globe and to make optimal use of our global scale, based on cost efficiency and high quality. As part of the work, you will collaborate with your colleagues within Infrastructure Operations as well as other parts of the organisation, to define the network architecture of tomorrow, based on the needs from our organisation in conjunction with the evolving trends in the market. (SD-WAN, Zero Trust etc). As part of the daily work, will work closely with our suppliers to ensure that they live up to the agreed delivery when it comes to future-proofing our services. You will also continuously develop your technical knowledge in the field, which includes product knowledge (Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc). What you'll do: Technology Strategy Development: Develop technology strategies in alignment with domain and enterprise architecture guidance. Analyze business drivers and strategies to understand their impact on technical architecture. Identify and mitigate risks associated with proposed solutions. Stakeholder Communication: Champion and communicate technology implications to relevant stakeholders. Associate architectural implications with business objectives, drivers, and goals. Industry Trends and Best Practices: Provide perspectives on applying industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to targeted solutions. Leverage expertise from the broader enterprise architecture group as applicable. Proof of Concepts and Prototypes: Contribute to the development of proof of concepts or prototypes to validate proposed solutions. Technology Ecosystem Analysis: Analyze the broader technology ecosystem to ensure alignment with the overall technology portfolio. Transition Strategy: Define transition steps and strategy from current to future technology architecture. Technical Architecture Development: Define detailed technical architecture for solution development. Oversee the evolution of the architecture as the solution is deployed organization-wide. Standards and Best Practices: Develop standards, best practices, and tools to align with overall enterprise architecture practices. Manage governance around architectural decisions, ensuring adherence to processes, principles, policies, and standards, including security. Collaboration: Collaborate with delivery teams to identify technical requirements. Work with relevant stakeholders during the solution selection process. Support the delivery team from ideation to deployment of the targeted solution. Technical Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical knowledge and input to Solution Architects and enterprise architecture. Who you are: Technical Knowledge and Experience: You have extensive knowledge and experience in relevant technologies. You have a good understanding of technology strategy, development lifecycle, and alternative delivery methods. You have a thorough understanding of key technology areas. Stakeholder Management: You know how to partner effectively with different stakeholders. You have strong leadership skills, including negotiation, persuasion, salesmanship, teaching, conflict resolution, and bridge-building. You are politically astute with the ability to manage complex relationships. Analytical Skills: You are proficient in technical translation, abstraction, pattern recognition, logical and holistic thinking. You have strong analytical skills for technology management and integrations. Leadership and Governance: You are good at develop standards, best practices, and tools to support enterprise architecture. You have experience in managing governance around architectural decisions. Collaboration and Communication: You have excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. Requirements: Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications in network architecture, such as TOGAF, Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), or similar. Experience in developing and implementing technology strategies in large, complex organizations. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a network architectural role including network design and knowledge on the most relevant network technology (for example: LAN/WAN, VLAN, SD-WAN, routing protocol) You are fluent in English.
