What's the role? Reporting to the Managing Director, Client Partnerships, this internally facing role is responsible for partnering with the Managing Director and the SLT to support strategy development, communication and effective day-to-day operations of the Client Partnerships function. Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with Client Partnerships GMs and senior internal stakeholders, this role will enable the successful delivery of client outcomes, operational excellence and business performance. Direct Responsibilities: Design and sustain the operating rhythm - manage the Client Partnerships operating rhythm: including key forums such as SLT offsites, strategy workshops, regular team meetings, communication forums and WIP meetings. Run and manage the Managing Director's Senior Leadership Team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among leaders. Connect the dots, cross-functionally - Attend and facilitate cross-departmental forums (eg Monthly Client Forum with Publishers) and discussions ensuring agendas are aligned to priorities and actions are carried out; managing risk by bridging interdepartmental gaps. Leading and representing the team in enterprise-wide forums, increasing visibility and showcasing the ability to contribute to organisational priorities at a strategic level. Act as a proxy - where appropriate, act as a proxy and information funnel, filter, facilitator for the Managing Director. Deal with as many issues as possible before they need to reach the Managing Directorʼs desk, and represent the Managing Directors point of view. Partnership Accountabilities: Provide financial & strategic analysis - work with finance and strategy teams to provide analysis, options and recommendations regarding strategic & financial decisions. Contribute to the strategic planning cycle, including major events such as annual strategy presentations and annual budget presentations. Support transformational programs - work with appropriate teams (Strategy team, Transformation office, HR) to workshop the up-front design of transformation projects. Attend certain governance forums and steercos to ensure ongoing projects remain on track. Support HR on delivery of People Plan initiatives - work with the HR function to enable Client Partnerships Leadership delivery of the NCA People Strategy and key programs of work. Work with Corporate Affairs, Trade Marketing and HR on any required comm strategies - collaborate with appropriate teams to create key communication messages on behalf of the Managing Director, including all staff town halls, major leadership briefings and other internal and external events. Leadership Accountabilities: Team Leadership & Management: Oversee and guide the Planning and Operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to team members to build high-performing capabilities. Operational Excellence: Accountable for ensuring effective and efficient operational processes across the Client Partnerships team. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, productivity, and client outcomes. Sales Planning: Accountable for the delivery of the network program to include prioritisation and communication. Ownership of approach to sales targets, contra policy and revenue allocation to sales teams Performance Management: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations. Use data and insights to drive performance improvements and strategic decision-making. Who are you? Experience in sales and/or marketing roles, with a deep understanding of sales processes and environments. Experience leading organizational change initiatives and driving transformational projects to achieve business objectives. Proven experience in contributing to the development of organisational vision and strategy, translating them into actionable plans and objectives. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the industry in which the company operates, including regulatory considerations, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics. Experience in building and managing strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners to support business objectives. Familiarity with financial principles and budget management, particularly as they relate to pricing strategies, promotional fund allocation, and profitability analysis.
