The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with at least 2 years’ hands-on experience to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our business. You’ll be working across a broad range of accounting tasks, helping us maintain accurate records, improve processes, and support growth in a fast-moving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer accounts
Reconcile daily transactions, bank statements, and cash handling
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end processes
Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with superannuation, tax
Support budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities
Liaise with management, suppliers, and external accountants/auditors
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role (preferably within automotive, manufacturing, or trade-related industries)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently while being a reliable part of a team
