Albury Galvanizing is a member of the J Furphy & Sons Group is currently recruiting for an experienced and skilled Galvanizers to work in their manufacturing plant located in Jindera, NSW.

The main objective role is to carry out work functions and tasks in a safe and timely manner to ensure the efficient processing of steelwork through the Galvanizing process and will perform the following duties and responsibilities as stated:

- Perform Fettling duties as per Albury Galvanizing Fettling Procedures
- Perform Jigging duties as per Albury Galvanizing Jigging Procedures
- Perform Pre-treatment Crane Operation duties as per Albury Galvanizing Pre-Treatment Procedures.
- Perform Dipping Crane Operation duties as per Albury Galvanizing Dipping Procedures.
- Record Product weight of finished goods and conduct coating thickness testing when required.
- Perform Iron reduction processes from the Galvanizing Kettle
- Perform Iron reduction processes from the Pre-flux Tanks
- Conduct visual quality checks of finished goods.
- May require loading and unloading of goods when directed
- Ensure that Job traceability forms and checks are completed for the Work function being performed.
- Develop a thorough and better understanding of the galvanizing process and the effects of the process on customers products in order to produce the best products.
- Perform tasks as per direction from Operations Manager and Shift Leaders.

The successful candidate must possess the following criteria:

- Minimum 3-years' experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing
- Committed to working safely and compliance with all WHS policies & Procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Punctual & reliable.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic mathematics ability.
- Time management skills

Desirably but not required, you must have an experience in operating the following equipment's:
- Forklift
- Gantry Crane
- Confined Space Entry

Salary range is $75,000 - $ 85,000pa commensurate with experience
