Position Title: Full-time Motor Mechanic

Annual Salary: A$ 76,515 + Superannuation
Introduction:
We are a well-established and reputable automotive service centre located in the heart of Craigieburn. We are now looking for a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our growing team.

Duties:

• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance of Japanese and European Motor vehicles as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Diagnose all Electrical and Mechanical defects of vehicles and determine the repair plan.
• Replace vehicle parts and components and testing.
• Test the vehicles after repairs to ensure that vehicle is road useable.
• Use scan tools to detect issues across engine, transmission, braking, steering, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Dismantle and remove engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, checking parts, and undertaking repairs.
• Operate all equipment and tools in a safe, responsible manner and maintain a clean and organised workshop.

Skills and Experience:
• Minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Technology.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in vehicle service is mandatory.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Current Drivers Licence
