MAXWELL & HIGGS PTY LTD is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can support our production, Engineering and daily operations. The company requires 10+Years of experience. The ideal candidate will use their engineering knowledge to improve equipment performance, efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Apply mechanical engineering skills to support production, fix mechanical issues, and keep equipment running well.
• Help design, develop, modify, and maintain mechanical systems, tools, and production equipment.
• Carry out inspections to find mechanical problems, risks, or areas for improvement.
• Work with production staff to improve processes, increase efficiency, and maintain safe working conditions.
• Prepare technical documents, including reports, procedures, and equipment specifications.
• Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for equipment repairs, upgrades, and parts.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and help improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure machinery and mechanical operations follow workplace health and safety rules.
• Assist with planning and managing engineering projects, including new product design, product launch, customer communication, scheduling and resource coordination.
• Provide engineering input for budgeting, cost estimates, and investment proposals.

About You:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• The company requires 10+Years of experience.
• Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in production, manufacturing, engineering, retail manufacturing, or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial machines, and maintenance.
• Skilled in engineering software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and handle a fast-paced work environment.
• A proactive team member with a strong focus on improvement, safety, and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, share insights, and provide constructive feedback.
• Passionate about learning new skills, technologies, and methodologies to stay ahead in a dynamic industry.
