Fresh Food Market Pty Ltd are a well-established retail group with more than 60 sites. We rely on reliable ICT systems to deliver excellent service to our customers and suppliers. We are seeking an ICT Support Technician to ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly across all locations. We are seeking an ICT Support Technician to provide end-to-end support for hardware, software, and network systems across multiple retail sites.

Annual Salary - $76,515 to $83,000 plus super.
Position Overview
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for delivering practical solutions to IT issues, supporting retail systems, coordinating rollouts, and ensuring business continuity across the network. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and strong coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues affecting POS, store networks, and customer-facing systems, desktops and printers
• Respond to store inquiries on ICT faults with remote troubleshooting, monitoring, escalation, and support
• Adapt and configure existing programs and systems to meet retail needs, including stock control, payment processing, and self-checkouts
• Install and update software and applications required for daily store operations
• Ensure effective use of ICT equipment such as scanners, printers, office PCs, and payment terminals
• Implement and maintain store networks, Wi-Fi, and secure connectivity with suppliers and banking systems
• Coordinate with vendors and technicians to manage ICT rollouts, upgrades, and installations across multiple retail sites
• Repair and replace peripheral equipment including scanners, label printers, and terminals
Requirements
• AQF associate degree, advanced diploma, or diploma in ICT OR at least 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
• At least 1-year full time or equivalent part time experience supporting ICT systems in a retail or multi-site environment
• Strong technical knowledge of POS, payment systems, networks, and user devices
• Ability to diagnose, configure, and resolve ICT issues quickly and effectively
• Experience coordinating vendor support and scheduling on-site technicians
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
