FULL TIME Chefs and Cooks WANTED!!!
D FRASER & K FRASER trading as The Basin Dining Room located at 1 Sufview Rd, Mona
Vale NSW 2103, is currently seeking talented and dedicated Full Time Chef and Cook
for the daily operation of our busy kitchen.
Major duties:
? Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and
overhead costs.
? Prepare and cook foods in quantity of all types, either on a regular basis or
for special guests or functions.
? Based on customers preferences develop menu in collaboration with Senior
Chefs.
? Must display excellent prep, cooking, and plating skills
? Enforce OH&S and hygiene regulations.
? Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance.
? Requisition stock, materials, supplies, or equipment.
? Schedule employee work hours by coordinating activities.
? Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food
preparation.
? Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
? Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to
established.
? Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation till presentation.
? Meet with customers to discuss menus for special occasions.
Work experience: At least two years’ Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is
preferred.
Education/Skills: Relevant Qualifications in Hospitality or at least two years’
Experience
Salary: A$70,000 -A$80,000 + Superannuation
Annual Leave: 4 weeks
Working Hours: 38 Hrs per week
