The Chippo Hotel Full-Time Chef Required The Mama B Group Pty Ltd is seeking a full time Chef to operate and become a part of their kitchen team at 87-91 Abercrombie Street, Chippendale, NSW, 2008. Benefits Task & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Checking freshness of food and ingredients. Recipe development, menu planning and costing  In charge of monitoring the quality and presentation of catering and dishes in the house. Hiring, supervising and coordinating activities of cooks and other food preparation workers. Preparing and cooking food. Inspecting supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality. Discussing new menu ideas, food preparation and issues with Managers, waiters and kitchen staff. Ordering and maintaining inventory of food and supplies. Determining how food should be presented and creating decorative food displays. Monitoring sanitization practices and following kitchen safety standards. Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment for staff.
