Our Client RN FARMS PTY LTD is seeking a reliable Fruit Picker to work across six blueberry farms located in the Dimbulah and Mutchilba regions of QLD.
The farms located with sizes in acres:
- 66094 Burke Developmental Road (110 acres)
- 128 Veness Road (120 acres)
- 333 Veness Road (100 acres)
- 15 Minisini Road (100 acres)
- 62 Markocic Road (55 acres),
All of the above locations are within 5 minutes of each in Dimbulah town, as well as
104 Catherine Road, Mutchilba (100 acres), approximately 30 minutes away.

The role involves hand-picking blueberries according to size and ripeness, handling fruit carefully to maintain quality, and assisting with basic grading and packing tasks as required. You will work outdoors as part of a team, follow food safety and workplace health and safety guidelines, and help maintain clean and efficient work areas. This position is suited to physically fit individuals with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibility
• Harvesting blueberries efficiently and carefully to meet quality standards while following farm procedures, food safety requirements, and workplace health and safety guidelines.
Main Duties
• Hand-pick blueberries carefully according to required size, colour, firmness, and ripeness standards to ensure premium fruit quality.
• Handle blueberries gently during harvesting to prevent bruising, crushing, or contamination of fruit.
• Identify and remove damaged, underripe, overripe, or diseased berries during picking to maintain quality control.
• Assist with grading, sorting, weighing, and packing blueberries into appropriate containers in line with farm and market specifications.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all picking, packing, and storage areas to meet food safety requirements.
• Follow strict food safety, biosecurity, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery used for cultivation, fertilising, spraying, and harvesting operations.
• Work efficiently and productively to meet daily harvest targets while maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Cooperate with supervisors and team members to support smooth harvest operations and timely delivery of produce.
• Patrol, inspect, and report on the condition of blueberry crops to identify issues affecting plant health or fruit quality.
Skills/ Qualification:
• AQF Certificate I or higher
• 1-3 years of experience in related field

Salary:
• $70,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation
