As part of our ongoing growth, we are currently seeking a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our dedicated and professional team.

The Role

This is a full-time role (38 hours per week), ideal for an experienced Formwork Carpenter with a background in civil or commercial construction, who is looking to work on major infrastructure projects across NSW.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, professional team that values quality workmanship and safe work practices.

The successful applicant will report to the site supervisor on a daily basis. Some of the following tasks are as follows:
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Selecting and ordering materials required and preparing layouts
• Making formwork from timber, plywood, plastic, and steel as per shop drawings
• Measuring and cutting wood or metal
• Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
• Safely operating hand and power tools
• Prepared to assist other trades

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade Qualifications: Relevant carpentry qualifications.
• Proven experience (typically 2–5+ years) in formwork carpentry, including form building and removal, handling architectural finishes, and working on commercial or precast projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings accurately.
• Construction induction (“White Card”) mandatory for site work.
• Proficient with hand and power carpentry tools and committed to workplace health & safety.
• Able to carry formwork, work outdoors in varying conditions, climb scaffolding, and work at heights

Desirable Skills:

• Safety procedures knowledge
• Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in a team
• Valid Driving License and transport

Additional Information

• Ability to provide a current National Police Clearance Check.
