Forklift Operators (LF)

Monday to Friday / Day Shift
Ongoing with OT Available
Based in Altona $34 - $40+ P/H

Randstad is looking for reliable and experienced forklift operators to join a well-established Australian leader in home-wares and furniture supply team based in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

This is a casual role offering full-time hours Plus OT available, with the opportunity to transition to Full Time employment for the right people.

Day to day duties:

• Operating Forklift - Counter Balance &/or High Reach
• Transport products and/or materials to designated areas
• Assist with inventory control and stock management
• Manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
• Assist with general warehouse operations
• Loading and unloading trucks/containers
• Following all safety procedures and site policies

What you’ll need:

• Valid LF forklift licence (essential)
• Proven forklift driving experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication and reliability
• Own transport (desirable, depending on location and shift times)
• Ability to handle manual tasks and lift heavy items. Lifting up to 20kg
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
• Positive, can-do attitude
