Agri Talent, on behalf of our client in the seed production industry, is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to support operations at their Narromine facility. This position is critical to the safe and efficient handling of bulk seed and agricultural materials, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are maintained throughout busy seasonal cycles.
Your Role
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and store bulk materials across the facility. You will work closely with production and processing teams to ensure goods are transported safely and efficiently to designated areas, supporting bagging, palletising, and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts to transport seed, palletised goods, and bulk materials between storage, processing, and dispatch areas.
• Load and unload trucks, conveyors, and storage facilities as required.
• Ensure products are stored and stacked correctly for easy retrieval and safe handling.
• Monitor forklift operation, perform visual checks, and report any faults or safety concerns.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor adjustments or servicing.
• Support seed conditioning and processing teams with material movement to meet production targets.
• Assist with maintaining clean and organised warehouse and yard areas.
• Comply with workplace health, safety, and biosecurity requirements.
Skills & Experience
• Current Forklift (LF) licence is essential.
• Previous experience in forklift operations within warehouses, factories, or agricultural production facilities.
• Ability to safely transport, stack, and store bulk and palletised goods.
• Experience working in seed processing, grain handling, or bulk material facilities (desirable).
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify equipment wear or damage.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary & Benefits
• $68,000 – $78,000 per annum plus superannuation.
