Demonstrated experience in a hospitality environment, working rights in Australia, and the ability to manage early starts from 6am are required.
• Offering the award casual rate of $32.31 per hour plus applicable penalty rates on weekends, these roles provide you with flexibility, and learning opportunities if you wish to grow your career in hotels. • Job Description
• Providing food and beverage service to guests in our restaurants, bar and conference spaces
• Knowing the menu, ensuring we meet special dietary needs or preferences, and making recommendations and suggestions
• Communicating with other departments to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained
• Maintaining clean and safe workspaces and guest areas and ensuring food safety requirements are followed
• What we are looking for
• Great communication skills & presentation and for F&B Attendants, confidence to engage with guests
• A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in a food and beverage venue is preferable, but a passion for providing great guest experiences is what will really make you stand out!
• Qualifications
• The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings (from 6am), late evenings (up to 11pm) and on weekends and public holidays
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler qualifications (or prepared to obtain)
• Knowledge of H+L point of sale system would be an advantage, however not mandatory
• You must have current working rights in Australia. Students and Working Holiday Visa holders are encouraged to apply
