Floor Finisher – Queensland

We are seeking an experienced Floor Finisher to join our growing team in Queensland. If you take pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and finishing of a range of flooring products across residential and commercial sites. Majority of work includes carpet installation, however experience in installing hard flooring is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Install carpet to industry standards across a variety of settings
• Ability to assist with or undertake installation of hard flooring (vinyl, laminate, hybrid, timber, etc.)
• Prepare subfloors, including levelling and moisture barrier application
• Conduct repairs, stretching, and finishing work as required
• Maintain a safe and tidy workspace
• Liaise professionally with clients and team members

Skills & Experience
• Applicant must have at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience in carpet installation
• Experience in hard flooring installation (preferred but not essential)
• Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications
• Strong understanding of flooring tools, materials, and installation techniques
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver’s licence
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
