AR Mechanical is looking for a qualified and experienced Fitter to work and be part of their dynamic team.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS AND THE ROLE:

A Mackay-based fast-growing professional services company is rapidly expanding and requires hard-working, skilled people to join the team. Providing the sales and maintenance of pumps and pumping equipment to our clients in the Northern Bowen Basin our services are carried out professionally and with the utmost of efficiency. Our team are dedicated diligent workers who pride themselves on exceptional service to our customers.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

An experienced Fitter is required to work out of our workshop in Paget, Mackay. Candidates with experience in a similar position need only apply. Trade-qualified candidates are preferred though not essential if you have proven extensive experience, at least 3 years. Providing both fitting services and other workshop duties as required; including but not limited to customer deliveries and assistance with all aspects of maintaining a workshop of a small fast fast-paced growing company. Maintain pneumatic system and hydraulic system components, maintain and overhaul mechanical equipment and perform fault diagnosis.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this role you will have an impeccable work ethic and present well. You will work confidently within both a team environment and independently. You will not shy away from jumping in and giving your teammates a hand when necessary and will show initiative in doing so. Candidates with a Forklift and MR Licence will be viewed favourably.

A remuneration package is between $70,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
