• Job Description
• We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a 9 Month Contract to support the Finance Business Manager that partners with our Technology teams as well as Investment projects. The role will support technology stakeholders by providing high-quality and strategic financial advice, modelling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and other financial functions.

The responsibilities in this role include

Monthly Reporting

• Review and analyse monthly financial activities for the BU, including detailed assessments of month-to-date (MTD) and year-to-date (YTD) performance.
• Prepare and present monthly performance dashboards, highlighting key metrics, trends, and variances. Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and provide actionable insights.
• Provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive better business performance.
• Reconciliation of project related general ledger accounts and assisting the Fixed Assets Accountant with capitalisation of project assets

Decision Support

• Partner with the relevant Technology leadership team and stakeholders with financial decision-making by providing relevant data, analysis, and recommendations.
• Build and maintain Technology focused financial models to support product scenario and sensitivity analysis, vendor, and other ad-hoc financial analytical activities as required.
• Support both the Business Unit Finance Team and Enterprise Technology stakeholders with continuous improvement initiatives. Focused on enhancing productivity,

• Forecasting & Budgeting
• Review budget/forecast models for the BU, ensuring they reflect all financial aspects including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure driver-based assumptions are signed-off by the BU, and offer insights into the status of budget submissions, highlighting areas of opportunities and risks.
• Provide the BU with reporting on forecast submissions, including status against target. Offer analysis and insight to support the forecast, helping stakeholders understand the implications of forecasted results.
• About You
• This is a highly visible role within Cuscal where you will get the opportunity to partner with and present to key stakeholders.
• A relevant university degree (and CA/CPA qualified) with proven commercial application and experience
• 3+ years experience within a management accounting or FP&A team
• Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect, and obtain solutions.
• Proven and effective business partnering abilities
• Experience in delivery of continuous improvement initiatives or financial process change initiatives.
• Desirable
• Experience within retail banking or payments
