I am hiring an experienced Figma designer focused on professional business websites. You will work from existing client assets where available, and in many cases the only asset will be a logo. You should be confident proposing creative visual directions, building colour palettes, typography systems, layout styles and imagery guidelines from that starting point, then translating the brand into polished, conversion-ready page designs. When fuller brand guides exist, you will adapt and extend them with consistent, developer-ready UI. Core requirements: - Expert in Figma including components, variants, auto layout, design systems and prototyping - Strong branding skills across colour palettes, typography systems, layout grids and imagery direction - Confident in colour theory and accessibility with practical contrast checks and WCAG-aware choices - Portfolio of business websites that look polished, feel consistent and are practical to build - Able to produce developer-ready files with clear naming, spacing and notes Deliverables: - Website design concepts for homepage and key internal pages with desktop and mobile variants - Component-based UI kit in Figma covering buttons, forms, navigation, cards and states - Lightweight brand style guide summarising colour, type, spacing and imagery usage - Asset exports where relevant and clear developer handoff notes Communication and availability: - Responsive and easy to reach during project work - Clear, timely updates with predictable turnarounds - Comfortable asking clarifying questions early to avoid rework Nice to have: - Experience mapping designs to WordPress and Divi constraints so builds are smooth - Basic understanding of performance friendly design choices How to apply: - Share links to 3 recent business website designs created in Figma - Include a Figma link or screenshots that show your component structure and file organisation - Note your typical availability and turnaround times Type of work: - Ongoing freelance projects via Upwork - Mix of brand-led redesigns and new website designs based on supplied briefs or light wireframes - Focus on clean, scalable, professional design that hands off smoothly to development
