  • Primary Location NSW - Parramatta Job Description Summary A hands on supervisory role to ensure safety, compliance and high level of project delivery. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee civil and telecommunications infrastructure projects within the N2P Project. This role is critical in ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency while coordinating subcontractors, managing project risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and contract requirements. The successful candidate must be comfortable with weekly travel within the state, a strong team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced field environment. You will play a key role in fostering a safe and informed work environment and ensuring all work meets Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards. Nature of position: Permanent Location: NSW/ACT (required frequent travel) Reporting Line: Regional Area Manager Key Responsibilities Conduct site audits, manage risks, and ensure all subcontractors adhere to HSEQ standards, company policies and legislative requirements. Oversee project activities, including scheduling, reporting, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery. Lead regular toolbox talks to update teams on project progress, policy and legislation changes, and potential safety or weather concerns. Maintain accurate asset and project data within the Work Order Management System, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution. About You A strong background in civil construction is essential, with experience in NBN or telco projects highly desirable. Ability to travel weekly as this role requires regular state-wide travel to oversee projects and engage with teams on-site. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Work/Excel/Outlook) office Strong understanding of HSEQ regulations and ability to lead a safety-first culture. Experience ensuring compliance with project guidelines, safety requirements, and performance expectations. A proactive leader who thrives in a team environment and can communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
