Expro Group Australia are seeking expressions of interest for Field Service Technician positions within the Well Construction / TRS Team.
The Field Service Technician position involves providing maintenance, repairs, overhaul, diagnostics and condition monitoring services on specialised equipment for clients in the Oil and Gas Industry.
The positions are based at our Kenwick facility with work in remote field locations as required.
Whilst under supervision, your day-to-day duties as a Field Service Technician will be:
Operating our complete service line including Casing Running Tools, Power tongs, Computer Torque Monitoring Tubular Supervision and several other technical products and services.
Utilise hydraulic equipment of various types and sizes.
Assist with tubular operations where required, e.g. drifting, removing thread protectors, etc.
Maintain and perform repairs on equipment while on the rig.
Assist with inspection and connecting (make-up) and disconnecting (break-out) of tubulars
Inspect all workshop and offshore equipment, maintaining it as detailed in the company maintenance procedures and repair as required
Perform housekeeping / maintenance duties.
Work as part of a team, in remote locations.
Adhering to QHSE policies and procedures, completing JSA’s and conducing Hazard Assessments.
Completing relevant paperwork.
Assist the onshore workshop as required.
What we are looking for:
Field Service Technician – Experienced: 2-4 years of related experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Self-motivated and pro-active individuals keen to learn.
Ability to work under instruction/supervision and follow instructions.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Current driving license and a valid working right in Australia.
