We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Fitter to join our Townsville operations team! These are permanent full-time positions working Monday to Friday. What you’ll be doing: Customer Satisfaction – Deliver high-quality maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Technical Accuracy – Use the latest service information systems, procedures, and specifications to carry out all tasks with precision. Quality Assurance – Take all reasonable steps to guarantee fault-free workmanship, following strict control guidelines to prevent rework. Timely Delivery – Complete all assigned tasks within required target times while maintaining safety and quality. Customer Communication – Keep customers informed on progress, especially regarding major repair or replacement decisions, ensuring transparency and trust. Genuine Parts Support – Promote and support the use of genuine parts, providing advice and guidance to customers when required. Who are we and why work with us? What you’ll need A successful teammate will have: Qualifications & Industry Experience – Relevant trade qualification with hands-on experience in earthmoving, construction, or quarrying. Technical Skills – Proven ability with electronic devices and familiarity with Caterpillar diagnostic and information systems (ET, VIMS, SIMSi, and SIS). Communication & Customer Service – Well-developed interpersonal skills with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer support. Teamwork & Independence – Ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team. Safety Commitment – Strong dedication to maintaining a safe workplace and following high safety standards. Resilience Under Pressure – Demonstrated ability to perform effectively during peak periods while maintaining quality standards.
