Primary Location QLD - Fortitude Valley - Kingsgate Job Description Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Field Scoper & Cable Hauler to join our internal delivery team on the NBN Network to the Premises (N2P) project. About the Role We’re on the lookout for a skilled Field Scoper & Cable Hauler to join our internal delivery team working on the NBN Network to the Premises (N2P) project. In this hands-on role, you’ll scope fibre installation works, identify site-specific requirements, and safely haul fibre optic cables — making sure our projects run smoothly from design through to delivery. What you’ll be doing: Conduct on-site scoping to verify designs, assess conditions, and flag potential hazards. Prepare and submit accurate scope documentation, measurements, and as-builts. Operate vac trucks and cable hauling equipment to install fibre via underground and aerial routes. Collaborate with design and construction teams to confirm site readiness. Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with NBN standards. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture. What we’re looking for: Solid experience in both field scoping and cable hauling, ideally within NBN or large-scale fibre rollouts. Strong iPad and data entry skills with high attention to detail. Thorough understanding of NBN build methodologies and fibre installation processes. Confidence operating cable hauling equipment and interpreting network plans. Problem-solving mindset to tackle constructability issues. Excellent communication skills for working with crews, supervisors, and stakeholders. Mandatory: Current driver’s licence & White Card. Desirable: MR/HR licence & NBN accreditations (Enable, Cable Hauling, Pit & Pipe, etc.). Why join us?
