We are looking for 20 packing shed workers (graders) for our Onion, Carrot, Potato and Broccoli Sheds & 10 Broccoli Pickers for field production. You will be required to work Monday to Friday and some Saturdays and Sundays depending on the business requirements. The roles will commence in October 2025 and run until October 2029.
Your duties:

Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained

Grading of vegetables

Packing of vegetables

Maintain a clean work area with daily cleaning duties

Requirements:

Valid working rights in Australia

Experience in vegetable packing/grading is desirable

Be able to maintain focus when under time constraints and deadlines

Ability to work as part of a team and display cultural understanding

Due to our location, you must have a driver's license

Ability to undertake repetitive manual handling tasks whilst standing for long periods of time

Ability to lift and handle items weighing between 10-20kg as part of manual handling tasks

Capacity to stand for 8-10 hours per day as required by the role

Patane Produce provides a safe work environment for all workers. We pay our employees under the Modern Horticultural Awards, starting rate is $24.28 per hour and experienced rate is $24.95 per hour. We are located at Myalup WA just north of Bunbury and Australind.
