MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- * 5 years of experience in sales operations, enablement, or customer-facing
- roles.
- * Experience delivering scaled GTM motions and managing GTM processes,
- analytics, and reporting to grow the business.
- * Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- * Experience working across organizational boundaries, building relationships
- and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.
- * Experience with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the
- Cloud/IT technology space.
- * Experience developing sales plays for Cloud products.
- * Experience with content creation and narrative development.
ABOUT THE JOB
- As a GTM Field Activation Lead for Google Cloud, you will bring your experience
- and thought leadership to help drive direction, mission, and strategy around
- GTM’s activation strategy. The goals of the Field Activation function are to
- enable all roles for the sales play as they engage with customers and partners,
- and establish active communities, listening strategies, and feedback loops to
- fuel continuous iterations. You will partner with the field to implement changes
- that improve frontline productivity and drive customer success. The Field
- Activation Lead is accountable for sourcing customer insights and channeling
- them back to the field to drive seller productivity, and quantifying field
- adoption through success metrics such as active opportunities, opportunity
- conversion rates, win rates, etc.
- In this role, you will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders, including
- Learning and Development, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Partners and Sales.
- You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand
- Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. Finally, you will
- recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- * Coordinate with the Sales Enablement team to develop and execute skilling
- programs to enable sellers to deliver on sales plays.
- * Solicit feedback from the field and from customers to continuously improve
- and iterate on activation strategies in order to drive solutions and improve
- sales performance.
- * Establish a mechanism for tracking seller engagement and agreement status as
- a result of sales activation programs.
- * Work across partners in Learning and Enablement, Sales, Product, Marketing,
- and Strategy and Operations to help drive towards achieving sales goals.
