We have an opening for the following roles based in Palmerston NT

- 12 casual Farm and Livestock Hand roles - with responsibilities as per the Pastoral Award 2020: Farm and livestock hand level 1 (FLH1)

Approximate commencement dates is December 2025 and the job will run for 6 months. During this period, you will receive a minimum of 120 hours per 4 weeks.

Responsibilities may include:

- receive, check, despatch and record goods received and sent;
- perform livestock handling procedures;
- perform livestock health and welfare procedures;
- transport, handle and store chemicals applicable to primary work area;
- prepare and apply chemicals applicable to primary work area;
- operate moving plant and equipment competently and efficiently;
- perform food processing procedures;
- perform feed manufacture and delivery procedures;
- perform hygiene and housekeeping procedures associated with the primary work area;
- perform feedlot and environment maintenance procedures;
- possess understanding of industry quality assurance programs and all site operating procedures; and
- carry out workplace work health and safety procedures.

You must perform such additional duties and responsibilities as required from time to time providing they are within your skills, training, education and experience. There will be potential to upskill and training is provided.

Applicants must be available to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
