The Role
We are seeking a Family Law Graduate Lawyer to join our team. This role is suitable for:
• a graduate with 1–2 years’ experience in family law, or
• an exceptional graduate not yet admitted, with outstanding academic results and a clear intention to obtain admission soon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior lawyer to build strong technical and practical skills in family law within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with family law matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements and divorce applications
• Drafting court documents, correspondence, affidavits and consent orders
• Legal research and preparation of advice under supervision
• Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and court registries
• Supporting senior practitioners in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
• Maintaining accurate file management and compliance with firm procedures

About You
• Admitted as a solicitor in Australia or eligible for admission soon
• Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in family law (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong academic record (required for non-admitted applicants)
• Sound understanding of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and court procedures
• Excellent speaking, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management
• Professional, empathetic and client-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
