The Role
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance worker to join our team and oversee maintenance operations across our childcare centres in NSW . This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities:
Fixing broken furniture
Repairing or replacing broken toys and play equipment
Fixing minor plumbing issues
Cleaning gutters
Pressure cleaning exterior surfaces
Touching up paint on walls or furniture
Changing light bulbs
Cleaning and maintaining HVAC systems
Keeping outdoor areas tidy
Responding promptly to urgent maintenance issues
Ensuring emergency exits are clear and operational
Installing new equipment or fixtures as needed
Setting up temporary structures for events or activities
Mowing lawns and maintaining outdoor landscaping
Essential Criteria
Working with Children's Check Clearance
National Police Check
Full driver's license
Own tools
Own vehicle
1-2 years experience in a similar role
Physically fit and healthy
Good verbal and written communication skills
