This is a rare Part Time opportunity to work in the corporate facilities space at our Chatswood Office. This role offers the flexibility of working 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday mornings, making it ideal for those with commitments such as school or day care drop-offs and pickups, study, or other responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the effective and efficient management of office facilities and related requirements, including maintaining WHS maintenance. Additionally, you will provide on-site support as a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety Representative and Emergency Warden. Some of the key responsibilities include: Liaising with Leaders and Staff, Building Management, and External Service Providers to ensure we have a safe and well-maintained office working environment. Actioning timely, effective, and cost-efficient resolutions of facilities issues, requests, or hazards identified, while recording and following up required site activity. Maintaining a register of local Contractors and Suppliers. Managing the coordination of scheduled maintenance and servicing of equipment, including Contractor site access, inspecting work, and managing associated reports/certificates. Monitoring cleaning, secure destruction and waste management undertaken by Cleaners, Suppliers and Building Management and communicating requests/concerns when required. Monitoring and maintaining staff amenities, including kitchens, fridges, dishwashers, and first aid supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and cleanliness. Monitoring meeting rooms, communal break-out areas, and other quiet spaces to ensure they are clean and tidy. Managing Brisbane security access pass and locker allocations, including processing access pass requests for new employees, security programming, lost/damaged card replacement, and management of terminations/return of passes process. About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to bring experience in either Facilities Support or Office Management, in addition to; A basic understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles, hazards, and preventative measures. Sound communication skills, with the ability to relay accurate and concise information in both written and oral form. Strong planning and problem resolution abilities, adaptability to effectively deal with change, and highly developed customer service and written communication skills are also essential. Additionally, you should have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time and manage unplanned tasks at short notice.
