The Role:
In this role you will be part of an exciting project supporting the development and deployment of our new enterprise workforce management solution where you will manage and develop productivity labour standards and the budgeted end to end impacts of those standards. By applying your industrial engineering skills with an operational process understanding of stores, you deliver the continuous iteration and development of a portfolio of Paying Departments nationally, whilst consulting and guiding transformation teams on process improvement opportunities, The role assists in leading and project managing Paying Department labour modelling resets of the existing engineered labour standards, supporting the ongoing reiteration of Woolworth’s labour model and workforce management solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- A highly valued SME across multiple functional tribes, evaluating initiatives that support the annual productivity agenda and the continuous improvement of the overall RT3 Labour Model solution.
- Ensures that stores feedback on the quality of rostering demand lines is actioned in a timely manner, ensuring continuous integrity and advocacy of the RT3 solution.
- Manages the development of labour standards modelling, and resets of the current labour standards as required either operationally or as part of simplification opportunities.
- Develop and support the delivery of labour standards across defined areas of accountability within the productivity model.
- Works closely with our key workforce management partners - Connors, and when supported by our vendors, lead their consultants in the delivery of engineered labour standards overlays.
- Partnering and collaborating with the Workforce Management Solutions and external teams to the RT3 tribe, supporting the deployment and embed as new builds/propositions are developed.
- Collaborates effectively with cross functional teams, educating on the labour standards model and project life cycles that deliver a seamless change experience for customer and team.
- Guide and facilitate disciplined ways of working to ensure timelines are met, stakeholders are engaged appropriately and change is efficient and cost effective.
- Develop project phases with clear delivery plans in consultation with your line manager.
Skills / Experience:
- Experience in Project Management, productivity or analysis roles
- Experience in Retail or customer service sector business experience
- A technical and analytically focused mindset
- An interest in productivity and developing further knowledge in a specialist area
- Strong communication, influencing and engagement skills for interactions with both internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary education qualification in mathematics, statistics, business or equivalent experience
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel
- An understanding of time and attendance and workforce management systems
- An ability to understand and effectively interpret Enterprise Agreements and Awards
- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to work independently, and across video conferencing as appropriate
- Flexibility to travel interstate and within state as required
- Advantageous to have Lean Six Sigma Methodology, Kronos, Google cloud Platform or Tableau experience
