We are seeking an expert 3D designer to convert our extensive library of furniture models from Revit to a native Archicad format. The primary objective is to make our product collection accessible and fully functional for architects and designers who use Archicad. This requires a high-quality conversion that retains the integrity and usability of the original models. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately convert our existing library of furniture Revit families (.rfa) into parametric Archicad objects (.gsm). - Ensure that converted files are not static models. They must be optimised, lightweight, and include editable parameters such as materials and finishes. - Maintain a high level of detail and accuracy, consistent with the source files. - Organise the final deliverable library of Archicad objects according to our naming conventions and structure. Required Experience and Skills: - Expert-level proficiency in both Autodesk Revit and Graphisoft Archicad. - A strong portfolio demonstrating proven experience in converting complex Revit families into functional, parametric Archicad GDL objects. - Proficiency in GDL scripting to create intelligent and editable objects. - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality. - Experience with modelling commercial furniture is highly advantageous. Project Scope: We propose to start with a paid trial of five to ten models to ensure a suitable workflow and quality standard is met. Following the successful completion of this initial phase, the project will expand to encompass our full product catalogue.
