Allsafe Access Property Maintenance Pty Ltd is looking for a Professional Painter to join our team.

We are looking for a self-motivated, English speaking, articulate person to fill the role of Painter within our company.

Your duties will include:
Responsible for painting of interior and exterior commercial sites as directed by the project supervisor.
Responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, including filling holes, paint stripping, sanding, repairing woodwork, removing old paint or wallpaper, sealing surfaces.
Inspecting surfaces to be painted.
Responsible for cleaning equipment, work areas and any splatters that may have resulted while painting.
Prepare and apply paint, using brushes, rollers or spray guns to apply the paint to the surface.
Apply undercoats, oil based, gloss enamel, varnish or stain, low sheen acrylic to surfaces using brushes, rollers and spraying.
Responsible for mixing paint and colour matching for the project.
Manage required paint materials for the project.
Supervising the painting process and maintaining records making sure the work meets standards.
Responsible to ensure health and safety requirements are met at each jobsite.

The successful applicant will need to be a qualified tradesman painter and hold Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (desirable).

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years' work experience as a professional painter.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience working on a number of painting projects simultaneously, showing a commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement either within the painting trade or other areas.
