We are seeking a qualified bookkeeper to manage our Xero books for a small construction business. The ideal candidate must have experience in the construction industry and a solid understanding of Australian tax regulations. The role requires up to 12 hours per month (items to be reconciled on a weekly basis) following an onboarding and catch-up period. We are looking for someone who can help us refine our processes in order to manage projects and spend - we currently use Tracking Categories to allocate funds to a project address, but would like to see further expense breakdown within projects. We also need to identify a process to track spend against a Progress payment invoice. Preparation of BAS and Super/payroll also required.
