Your Role as an Exercise Physiologist This is a fixed-term position until 22/03/2027. As our Exercise Physiologist, you’ll deliver person-centred services across WMQ’s Health and Wellbeing settings. In this role you will empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by: Provide services to customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability, health and wellbeing, return to work and rehabilitation. Complete accurate assessment and review of physical needs of customers, and to provide a consultancy service for a range of activities to a wide range of customers. To provide individual and group intervention programs with the aim of increasing customer function, physical wellbeing and independence. Facilitate accurate and timely receipting and data entry into relevant systems. Provision of exercise intervention and education for those at risk of developing a chronic condition or injury. Contribute actively to an MDT environment to achieve the best possible outcome for customers. What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology and accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science-Australia (ESSA) Exercise physiology experience working within a community, aged care and/or disability environment, including individual and group intervention High level of verbal and written communication skills particularly in establishing and maintaining rapport with staff, customers and their carers. Ability to work effectively as a multi-disciplinary team member. Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
