The Opportunity
Are you a high-level advisor looking to influence strategy? We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Executive Officer to lead the Office of the General Manager.
In this critical role, you won't just be managing a schedule; you will be the "right hand" to the GM, driving cross-organisational initiatives, translating high-level priorities into action, and ensuring the executive engine runs with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory: Research and prepare high-level briefings, reports, and policy advice on complex operational matters.
Operational Oversight: Lead the Executive Office workflow, overseeing correspondence and coordinating Organisation and Leadership activities.
Stakeholder Diplomacy: Manage critical relationships with officials, agencies, and local office.
Project Leadership: Drive transformation and change projects, ensuring KPIs and corporate planning processes stay on track.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: Proven background in a Senior Advisory role within Government.
Technical Knowledge: A solid grasp of the NSW planning system and housing reform agenda is highly regarded.
Strategic Mindset: The ability to analyse complex data and turn it into clear, actionable advice for executive leaders.
Governance Expertise: Deep understanding of corporate planning frameworks and legislative requirements.
Discretion: An unwavering commitment to maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive political risks.
Qualifications: A degree in Public Policy, Business, Law, or a related field is desirable.
