Our client is seeking an experienced Excavator / Loader Operator with crushing experience to join our civil construction team in Perth. This role involves plant operation across active earthworks and civil projects, including work around mobile crushing and screening plants.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
??Operate excavators and loaders safely and efficiently on civil construction sites
??Carry out earthworks including bulk excavation, trenching, backfilling, levelling, and material loading
??Feed material into mobile crushing and screening plants using excavators or loaders
??Manage raw material and crushed product stockpiles, ensuring correct material flow and sizing
??Work safely around crushing equipment, maintaining exclusion zones and following site procedures
??Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance
??Read and follow site plans, levels, and supervisor instructions
??Work closely with site supervisors and crushing crews to meet production and safety targets
??Maintain strict compliance with WHS and site safety requirements
Job Requirements
??Minimum 2 years’ experience operating excavators and/or loaders on civil or earthworks projects
??Previous experience working around crushing and screening plants is required
??Valid Australian excavator and loader tickets
??Strong understanding of plant safety, particularly in high-risk crushing environments
??Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
??Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to sites across Perth
