- The Role and Responsibilities
- EnerMech is gearing up for major shutdown campaigns across the country from mid December 2025 through 2026 and beyond. We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced and safety-driven Nitrogen Technicians to join our high-performing teams on upcoming projects. Regardless of your location we support point of hires from all major cities.
- Take on new challenges and put your skills to the test on diverse projects for leading oil and gas clients across Australia.
- Set up, operate, and monitor equipment for liquid nitrogen supply to support project operations.
- Safely handle cryogenic fluids, including liquid nitrogen (LN2), and operate LN2 vaporizers and pumps.
- Experience operating equipment for nitrogen / membrane units, gas separation technologies, and high‑volume nitrogen services.
- Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and monitoring to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to support continuous improvement and plant reliability.
- Uphold EnerMech’s strong commitment to safety, integrity, and operational excellence in every task.
- The Requirements
- 3–5 years operating high-volume nitrogen membrane units.
- Familiarity with compressors, dryers and nitrogen membranes.
- Previous LNG facility or shutdown campaign experience (essential).
- Understanding of P&IDs, flow diagrams, and control systems.
- White Card
- Industry Safety Induction (desirable)
- Working at Heights, Confined Space dated within 2 years (desirable)
- Gast Test Atmosphere dated within 2 years (desirable)
- Ability to pass OEUK and or Safer Together Medical
- BOSIET - Offshore works mandatory
