Environmental Advisor

Are you an experienced environmental professional seeking a new challenge?

My client is looking for an Environmental Advisor to join their team in the Gold Coast on a 3-6 month contract, with the potential for a permanent role. In this position, you will report directly to the Environmental Manager and focus on managing environmental obligations, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance for tenants and contractors. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the business operates sustainably and achieves its environmental objectives.

What You'll Do

• Manage environmental programs and ensure compliance with the Environmental Management System (EMS), legislation, and the airport's environmental strategy.

• Conduct inspections and audits of tenant and contractor activities.

• Manage environmental monitoring for water, air, and noise.

• Provide advice on environmental matters and deliver training to various stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in implementing management systems. You'll need to be self-motivated, highly organised, and an excellent communicator.
