Position: Engineering Technologist – Full-Time
Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

About the Role
The Engineering Technologist will play a key role in supporting our production operations by applying technical knowledge to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This position bridges the gap between engineering design and practical implementation on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities
1. Apply established engineering methods and technologies to support the design, development, and optimisation of manufacturing processes.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and evaluation of production systems and equipment.
3. Assist in preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
4. Monitor and analyse system performance, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment.
6. Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure projects meet technical and compliance requirements.
7. Use CAD and modelling software to create technical layouts and design solutions.
8. Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
9. Identify opportunities for automation, sustainability, and process innovation.
10. Train and support technicians and production staff in applying engineering methods and technologies.

Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
2. At least 3 years’ experience as an Engineering Technologist in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
3. Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering design software.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, production technologies, and safety standards.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
7. Strong communication skills to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
