Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Surveyor (ANZSCO 232212) to join our professional team. The successful candidate will
be responsible for conducting, managing, and overseeing land, engineering, and construction surveys to support infrastructure and development projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in survey instruments and software, data interpretation, and the ability to provide accurate spatial information for planning, design, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and conduct land, engineering, construction surveys.
• Spatially Adjust, and interpret control points, boundaries, and topographical data.
• Use specialised survey equipment including GPS, total stations, Digital Spirit Levelling, and 3D scanning instruments to capture spatial data.
•Collect, analyse, and interpret geographic and spatial information for mapping, design, and construction purposes.
•Prepare survey reports, maps, plans, and digital data sets in accordance with Australian standards and client specifications.
• Provide survey set-out and support for civil engineering and construction works, including roads, utilities, commercial 7 Industrial Construction, subdivisions, and infrastructure.
•Maintain and calibrate survey instruments and ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety standards.
•Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to resolve survey and design issues.
•Supervise and mentor survey assistants and technicians.
•Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and professional surveying practices.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional surveying experience (local or international).
• Demonstrated knowledge of surveying principles, and engineering survey practices.
• Proficiency in survey software and CAD platforms: Crostation, Liscad Neo, and Trimble, Business Centre software
• Strong skills in GPS, robotic total stations, 3D scanning and digital levelling instruments.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, re-coordinate & set-out complex building, civil, utility and drainage design plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in field and office environments.
