Key Accountabilities
- Lead safety performance and embed a proactive safety culture across the Electrical Infrastructure function.
- Oversee electrical infrastructure maintenance, spares management, condition monitoring, life extension and replacement planning.
- Manage instrumentation, control systems, and local IT and communication networks.
- Deliver effective maintenance scheduling, project execution and asset management practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure realisation of measurable operational benefits.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, environmental and electrical licence obligations.
- Manage financial performance, cost control and budgeting for the Electrical Infrastructure function.
- Lead and develop a capable, high-performing team focused on safe and efficient delivery.
About You
You are an experienced electrical leader who combines strong technical expertise with proven capability in managing people, systems and performance in a mining or minerals processing environment.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Trade or Degree qualification
- Electrical contractor’s licence
- High Voltage Switching qualification
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in electrical infrastructure management, ideally in mining or minerals processing
- Strong knowledge of asset maintenance systems, processes, and financial management principles
- Demonstrated understanding of minerals processing systems and interdependencies
- Proven experience in risk, safety, and compliance management
- Demonstrated leadership in developing people and building high-performance teams
