We employ approximately 3,000 people across four operating divisions: Fire & Security, Electrical, Property Services, and Products. We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician (Service Technician) to join our friendly and supportive team.
Job Details: Full-time, 38 hours per week
Location: 9B Commercial Rd, Kingsgrove NSW 2208
Salary: $215,000 - $230,000 per annum plus superannuation
Key Responsibilities:
Examine, test, and diagnose faults in machines, electrical equipment, instruments, and control systems.
Adjust, repair, replace, and reassemble defective parts, wiring, and components to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Install, configure, calibrate, and commission electrical and electronic equipment, control systems, substations, switchgear, cabling, and motor control systems.
Prepare and interpret technical drawings, plans, and diagrams for electrical installations and circuitry.
Collect data, conduct tests and calculations, analyse results, and prepare reports, charts, and documentation.
Inspect designs, assemblies, and completed installations for compliance with specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Perform workshop functions including assembling and testing protection relays, metering, and indicating devices.
Provide technical support, breakdown services, and preventative maintenance advice to users and customers.
Monitor communications systems, including radio traffic, and ensure accurate and efficient message handling when required.
Estimate materials, costs, and quantities, and assist engineers with design, layout, research, and experimentation programs.
Maintain clear and accurate records, submitting documentation in a professional and legible manner.

Qualifications of a Electrical Engineering Technician
? Tertiary degree or diploma in a relevant field
? Minimum 1 year of work experience in the field
