About the Position
The Electrical Engineering Draftsperson/Technician role at iServeu Pty Ltd is pivotal in supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for diverse projects. This full-time position involves preparing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with engineers to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical drawings and technical schematics for various projects.
Assist in the design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry.
Conduct tests, analyse data, and prepare technical reports.
Estimate material quantities and costs for project planning.
Inspect electrical systems for compliance with regulations and specifications.
Modify and repair electrical installations as per project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers to optimise system designs and layouts.
Support research and development efforts in electrical engineering projects.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.
Install and calibrate electrical equipment following safety protocols.
Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to industry safety standards and regulations.
Participate in project meetings to align with client requirements.
Test and evaluate electrical systems for performance and efficiency.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians on technical tasks.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
