Qualification & Work Experience

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved), or above
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

Skills & Requirements

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and child development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willing to obtain)
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to the child’s development and well-being.

Job description

• Working in the nursery room to deliver a high-quality, play-based curriculum
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in alignment with the EYLF and NQS
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Contribute to planning, documenting, and evaluating learning experiences
• Communicate with parents and caregivers about their child’s progress and well-being
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Actively engage in continuous improvement and reflective practices
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
