The Law School is notable for its strong links to the practising profession, barristers, judges and solicitors giving lectures in core legal subjects. The Law School attracts high calibre students to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs and has an internationally respected faculty of scholars. As the Education Support Officer, you will provide high-level, professional administrative support to all academic staff (including casual and visiting academics) within Sydney Law School. Your key responsibilities will be to: assist Academic Staff (including casuals and visiting academics) with preparation for unit of study delivery in the PLP and PG programs provide quality administrative support to ensure smooth running of unit of study provide Learning Management System (LMS) support for allocated units of study assist with administration of assessment, marking and result finalisation process provide administrative support to academic staff, including casuals and visiting academics, and Education Support Manager. About you a high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and strong negotiation skills a demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and solve problems and also proactively identify and make suggestions for improved administrative practices and service demonstrated their commitment to high levels of customer service whilst displaying a positive attitude and flexible approach high level organisational skills and experience including prioritising and completing multiple tasks against deadlines knowledge of an eLearning application e.g. Canvas (desirable). Important There is a requirement for this position to be on campus. Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position.
