In this role, you will provide a broad range of educational administration and operational support to academic, teaching, and professional staff. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of our programs, exercising initiative and sound judgment in managing day-to-day operations and resolving challenges. This role may be required to travel between locations to support other work areas. There is a requirement for this position to be on site. Limited hybrid working arrangements can be discussed with your manager if you are successful in this position. Please note that these roles are not open to current University of Sydney students. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage program evaluation processes and facilitate improvements for coursework programs, implementing changes recommended by academic staff provide comprehensive administrative support to academic and teaching staff, including policy interpretation and assistance with procedural matters develop and maintain databases and contact lists to enhance learning and teaching activities, and train new staff on systems and policies manage the compilation and publication of academic content for both print and online platforms support the coordination of teaching processes, including assessments, examinations, scholarships, results processing, and evaluation manage educational reporting, compliance, and publication production, ensuring accurate information on university systems and adherence to work area requirements. About you demonstrated client focus with strong stakeholder engagement capability to enable the delivery of successful outcomes effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) together with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement, along with the ability to prioritise workload during busy periods superior computer skills, including database maintenance, experience with Microsoft Office experience delivering education programs, preferably in a tertiary education environment highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including internal and external customers and suppliers, and University students.
