About the role
Join our team delivering playful learning across PLAYfocus and INNOVATEclub. You will provide quality care in family homes and lead hands on STEAM sessions in early learning settings. You will adapt to different ages, communicate clearly with families and centre staff, and keep children safe and engaged.

What you will do
• Plan and deliver safe, engaging play and STEAM sessions aligned to EYLF and QKLG
• Set up and pack down activities and equipment
• Observe children and share brief updates with families using our templates or Storypark
• Follow all child safety, risk and incident procedures
• Build positive routines that support regulation, inclusion and belonging
• Represent HLG STEAMist with warm, professional communication

Hours and locations
• Part time with a mix of weekday day time, some late afternoons, weekends and school holiday blocks
• Work across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast
• Minimum booking is three hours per session
• Driving between centres and clients’ homes is required

You bring
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care completed
• Proven experience in early years settings
• Current Blue Card or ability to obtain one
• Current national police check
• Current First Aid and CPR. Asthma and anaphylaxis training completion.
• Valid licence and reliable, roadworthy car
• Strong communication, excellent time management and a calm, responsive approach

Nice to have
• Confidence facilitating small groups and managing smooth transitions
• Experience with simple science or maker style activities
