Early Childhood Educator (Room Leader) - Diploma in Children's Services

Child Care Australia United Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation with an impressive history in providing child care services to children and families across the Sutherland Shire. Our ethos is to work with families, local schools and other groups to build a great sense of community and belonging. We currently seek a person who is self-motivated, hands-on, with sound time-management skills in supporting the delivery of a quality educational program for children whilst building relationships with families and key stakeholders at our Bonnet Bay child care. The successful candidate will be supported by a quality-focused director and management team.

Your role

Diploma in Children's services (ACECQA approved)

Hold a current First Aid, child protection, WWCC, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.

Shift work between 7.00am and 6.00pm

Responsibilities

Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team

Engage and supervise the children at all times

Supervising the daily routine of children

Supervising the hygiene of children

Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families

Comply with National Quality Standards and the service policies and procedures

Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
