About the Role Team Global Express (TGE) is seeking an experienced National Driver Training Manager to lead our Driver Training Academy and national driver training capability. This role provides strategic leadership across accredited and non-accredited driver training programs for employees, trainees, and subcontractors. You will ensure best-practice training outcomes while maintaining compliance with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards, legislation, licensing, and regulatory requirements. You will lead and develop a national team of driver trainers, oversee the Enterprise RTO, and partner with key stakeholders to build a future-ready, compliant, and high-performing driving workforce aligned to TGE’s operational and cultural priorities. Key Responsibilities Lead the national Driver Training Academy and Enterprise RTO Design and deliver accredited and non-accredited driver training, compliance, and capability programs Ensure organisational compliance with ASQA, legislation, licensing, and industry standards Oversee trainer capability, accreditation, currency, and performance Support strategic workforce initiatives including traineeships, Women in Driving, upskilling, and site instructor programs Act as Subject Matter Expert for driver training, validation, and audit activities Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess training needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions Monitor industry trends and recommend improvements to training frameworks and delivery Drive continuous improvement, including digital transformation of training and assessment tools Positively role-model TGE’s values, culture, and high standards of performance About You You are a collaborative, forward-thinking leader with a passion for developing people and lifting capability across a complex national operation. You bring: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) (essential) Diploma or degree in adult education, training design, or VET (desirable) 3+ years’ experience leading driver training or significant senior driver trainer experience Strong expertise in transport compliance and safety frameworks (e.g. NHVL, CoR, fatigue, mass, load restraint, dangerous goods) Proven experience designing and delivering accredited and non-accredited training programs Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability A continuous improvement mindset and a practical, outcomes-focused approach About Team Global Express Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
